Programs

There are three different programs that may be used to review the .car files recorded by the unit.

MDVR Client: transfers, saves, converts (to an Divx .avi) and plays the files from the MDVR
Analysis Software: for reviewing the video, audio and data recorded (including GPS, triggered events, any sensors attached).
Any media Player: plays the converted file (smaller file suitable once the file has been converted) any media player should work (as long as you have downloaded the Divx codec). A free player & codec can be obtained here. (Only the codec is needed if you have a media player)

NOTES:

In order to hear the recorded audio in the MDVR client you must click on the camera you wish to hear.

In order to save an .avi file select the camera by clicking on the picture and then clicking the record button in the MDVR client software. The file will only be the audio and video from one camera be sure to click on the camera you wish to have converted.

In order to play back the .avi files (recorded from the client) you must have the Divx codec installed on your computer.

For frame by frame playback In Windows Media Player 9 Series or later, do the following:

On the View menu, click Enhancements, and then click Play Speed Settings.

Click the Next frame or Previous frame button.

Mobile DVR Remote Client file Instructions:

Click the Download link to start the download.
Once the download is complete Click "Open" to download Remote Client
Select a location for Remote client files on your hard drive or the package will unzip them into a temporary folder.
Click the setup file (this will install the program, enter your information, serial # is: securtex)
Launch the client.
Connect the MDVR to your network
Enter the IP address of the Remote DVR in the "IP Address" field (default 169.168.1.1)
Enter Password in the "Account Password" filed (demo password = 88888888)
Click "Connect" button
